Hung Up On How

2Ki 7:2 Then a lord on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God, and said, Behold, if the LORD would make windows in heaven, might this thing be? And he said, Behold, thou shalt see it with thine eyes, but shalt not eat thereof.
Here is something to think about.: D. L. Moody said, "If you would believe you must crucify the question, 'how?"

Our unbelief gets us in soooo much trouble. We try to reason from what we know forgetting that God knows so much more.

This man's mistake cost him dearly mainly because he was mocking the man of God. When the prophecy was fulfilled he was trampled in the city gates as the people rushed out to the camp of the Syrians to plunder their tents (see verses 18 - 20).

God doesn't mind an honest question but in the end we need to come back to what Mary said when the angel told her she would conceive a child by the Holy Spirit. "Be it unto to me according to your word."

I don't know how but if God has declared something it is a sure thing.

When you are tempted to question how something is going to get done just remind yourself that you are dealing with a God who spoke something out of nothing. Read Romans 4:17:
(as it is written, "I HAVE MADE YOU A FATHER OF MANY NATIONS") in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

We are limited but our great Jehovah is not!
